Review
TransType font converter will enable you to convert your font formats from/to PostScript Type 1 and TrueType formats. Using the program's batch converter you can convert hundreds of fonts at a time. TransType SE also supports converting fonts directly from Stuffit archives and you can convert Multiple Master fonts into single-master fonts. TransType SE allows you to import from FontLab VFB, Win Type 1 and others, and you can convert legacy-encoded fonts into Unicode and create specialty-encoded fonts. Font conversion will help you to repair corrupted fonts that are causing printing problems or those that are not being accepted by your system. The program provides you with all of the tools you will need for encoding conversion, suitcase customization, code page assignment, script page assignment and the removal of TrueType tables that are unnecessary. The user-friendly interface presents you with context sensitive pop-up menus and property windows, a source fonts window and a destination window, automatic bitmaps and hinting creation. |
